Asomugha, on Wednesday described government’s response to its current strike as haphazard and unconvincing, saying the strike became necessary following the snail speed pace of the review of the Federal Polytechnics Act at the National Assembly.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation
Board (JAMB) has released the 2013 Unified Tertiary Matriculation
Examination (UTME) results.
The board, however, withheld 12,110 results for possible disciplinary action.
The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Dibu
Ojerinde, announced this at a news conference on the release of
the results in Bwari, FCT, on Friday.

Explosions rock Kano state,Nigeria
The Jama’atu Ahlis Sunnati Lidda’awati Wal Jihad, known popularly as the 'boko haram', have claimed responsibility for the multiple attacks on formations of security agencies across Kano state.Speaking by phone, the group claimed that the attacks were in response to the refusal of the Kano state government to release some of their members who had been arrested in the state.
