Edo State Lawmaker on the run…after impregnating 15-yr-old relative

A lawmaker in the Edo state House of Assembly representing one of the constituencies in Edo North senatorial district of the state, (names withheld), is currently on the run after he allegedly impregnated a 15 year-old girl said to be the younger sister to his wife.
The girl identified as Ozi, an indigene of Lampese, in Akoko Edo Local Government Council  of the state, is said to be a student in a  junior secondary school in the area.
Vanguard learnt that the lawmaker, who just won re-election into the state House of Assembly, had impregnated the in-law twice before the latest incident that the girl refused to abort.
Vanguard was reliably informed that before now, the lawmaker had earlier impregnated the elder sister to Ozi, identified as Iyabo and kicked her out of the legislative quarters in Benin City, after the girl threatened to  let the cat out of the bag.
Vanguard learnt that Ozi resides in Okene, Kogi State with the lawmaker’s wife but also visits  Benin to see the lawmaker without the knowledge of her sister.
However, trouble was said to have started when the victim refused to abort the pregnancy despite persuasion by her family members to do so.
Following the pressure, the victim ran away from the village to an unknown destination.
Vanguard observed that the lawmaker stopped attending House proceedings since the news of the scandal went round his constituency and had even abandoned his legislative quarters.
Vanguard was reliably informed by some leaders of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) that they would soon commence the processes to recall him from the House following his latest act of sleeping with an under-age girl.
The lawmaker’s election victory is also being contested in court by another aspirant in his party.
