Goodluck Jonathan is the new president of Nigeria

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is now the latest president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; The most populous country in Africa and the largest black nation in the world. He will be the president of Nigeria from 2011- 2015.

He was sworn in some minutes before 1300 GMT shortly after his Vice was sworn in. The ceremony was witnessed by all and sundry.
