The outbreak of fresh violence in Jos city of Plateau state in Nigeria has claimed Five lives and 12 people left seriously injured on Tuesday night.
The violence was a clash between groups of youths around Nasarawa and Angwan Rukuba areas. Many innocent passers-by were caught in the melée leaving them either injured or their vehicles damaged.Spokesman of the Special Task Force in charge of security in the state, Captain Charles Ekeocha who confirmed the incident said the violence broke out around 7.pm after a resident of Angwan Rukuba invited one Dahiru Musa to handle a repair for him only for him to be killed by some people.
