The Independent National Electoral Commission has begun moves to address the promises made by its leadership to restructure the organisation as well as address the issue of constituency delineation.
It has, therefore, scheduled a meeting for its electoral officers to take place in Abuja from July 11 to 15.
The Press Secretary to INEC Chairman, Mr. Kayode Idowu, said in Abuja on Wednesday that the meeting would also review the April general elections.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Idowu pointed out that the commission plans to draw lessons that could be applied to improve the conduct of future elections.
“It is part of the ongoing review process upon which suggestions would be made on reports for policy decisions,” he added.
