The Senate on Wednesday cleared the Managing  Director of the World Bank, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; former Finance  Minister, Olusegun Aganga; and erstwhile Special Adviser to the  President on Power, Prof.
Barth Nnaji, to serve in the cabinet of  President Goodluck Jonathan.Also confirmed were the  Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bello  Mohammed; ex-Deputy Governor of Osun State, Mrs. Olusola Obada; Mr. Abba  Moro; Prof. Viola Onwuliri; Prof. Okon Bassey-Ewa; and Senator Idris  Umar.
They appeared before the Senate, where they answered various questions on their professional background and likely projections.
The screening marked the longest clearance of ministerial nominees by the Senate.
The Senate adjourned proceedings till today Thursday.
