Oyo and Osun State governments rose from an emergency meeting that deliberated much on how the lingering ownership crisis between the two states would be amicable resolved.
According to a statement from the Senior Special Assistant on Media, Dr. Festus Adedayo, pressing issues between the two states, especially the ownership of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, was discussed and the states identified the problems .
He said, the immediate problem of the medical students; the challenges being faced by nurses and laboratory scientists as a result of misunderstanding arising from the actions of the former government of the state which resulted in students being unable to finish their studies for upwards of eight years; examinations not being conducted and medical students who needed a re-sit examination not being given the opportunity were noted.
